A classmate's blog has recently mentioned Yahoo's Green Challenge. Yahoo hopes to increase ecological awarness by noting the greenest city in the country. The winning city in turn will receive 10 hybrid cars to decrease CO2 emissions. Although the publicity could make an impact, don't you think the worst city in the country should get the hybrids?
Somehow i think L.A. may need the help
------------------------ although maybe more cars isn't the answer.

Good point Ryan!! Giving hybrids to the city in which is the LEAST green would help bring awareness to the problem in that city. I definately agree... and these "taxi hybrids" should REPLACE existing cars on the road instead of adding new cars!!
Speaking of taxi hybrids - i also thought it was pretty green of Penn State to use natural gas buses for student transportation.
